Out on the boat with Tim

Had a fabulous couple of hours and a picnic on the boat with Tim today. We went down the estruary at high tide, one of the highest of the year, past our favourite fishing pier (oysterbed), around Garinish island and the seals all doing yoga today and as far as Parnasilla resort which is the fantastic dog walking area. The paths cross bridges to allow you to explore the tiny islands that are part of their grounds.

but we can't remember the real nameof the house, will update everyone with the address asap. We move in Friday I think.

OTTERS!!

We think it should be renamed Otter Cottage. We've seen the lone male about 6 times now and his family of three just the once.

Pier Cottage

So thrilled to be at Pier cottage, we've had a lovely week looking at potential properties to rent. It's been hilarious trying to understand the Kerry accent and ignoring the fecks from everyone in the county..... you definitely wouldn't approve net. Tim and Caroline our hosts have been really encouraging and helpful finding us properties and in Pete's case the prospect of a job.
